Our client, a well-known national retailer who is an established market leader enjoying continued growth and success, is seeking a highly motivated and energetic Sales Consultant with a hunger for sales and a passion for In-home Curtain & Blind sales to join their team.

This role is primarily responsible for the sales of the company's range of Custom-Made Curtains & Blinds. This will entail providing customer in-home advice and service on Furnishings requirements, utilising an extensive range of fabrics and window decor products that are available for demonstration.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Provide extensive product information and advice to customers on the best use of the company products and suitability for their environment
  • Visit customers homes and provide accurate measuring/quoting on customers window furnishings requirements
  • Liaise with work-rooms to ensure that the product is received as per the correct specifications and the fitting as per order request
  • Assist in-store with administrative duties and sales as well as playing a major role in building the Custom-Made Curtain & Blinds business within your store's area
  • Manage customer relations

Skills and Attributes

  • Strong background in sales, preferably with Window Furnishings/Home Decor
  • Passionate about Home Furnishings
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work unsupervised
  • Effective communication skills
  • Excellent Presentation
  • Self motivated and a high achiever
  • Enthusiastic, positive and "can-do" attitude
  • Strong customer and team focus
  • Good understanding of retail environment
